General information

At R.M. Bacon, we have decades of experience in all of your excavation and land modification needs. Since our inception we've focused on bringing services and products to professionals and homeowners throughout the Capital District and Southern Vermont region. As a result, we've developed a diverse set of skills and built experience in all things dirt related. Our path has led us down many roads and we continue to develop amazing relationships with residents and business' throughout the area.

We believe all businesses need balance. In
2010 we decided to take advantage of our land resources and began developing a 200+ acre tract of land to raise our own beef cattle and grow our own hay and in 2014 began raising pigs. We've been able to create a self-sustaining farm that not only produces incredible beef, but also provides excellent resources and feed for other local farms. By bringing cattle to our land we have also been able to harvest the manure we use in our locally-renowned topsoil.

Adding to our balance is our partner company, Bacon Rentals, renting CAT equipment to professionals and homeowners.
