General information

I'm a textile designer and author, living and working from my studio, nestled in a tiny corner of the stunning Cheshire countryside. Here I create surface pattern designs for licensing purposes worldwide and produce a bespoke range of textile and paper products, using my vibrant and unique signature style.

Originally from the north of England, I have always been highly influenced by my worldwide travels. I have lived in many countries all over Europe, but my biggest influences have come from living in Australia for ten years. Inspiration stems from the clean and contemporary lines, the fresh, bold colours and the simplicity that living a life in Australia has to offer. But in all those years, my British heart never stopped beating hard and I love the country cottage feel you only get in an English home; the green countryside, rolling hills, pots of tea, wild flowers and gorgeous, pretty coastal villages. With this strong love of my English surroundings and with an Aussie twist thrown in, my work offers a bright, fresh, contemporary look with a homely feel.

I have worked in the textile and creative industry for over twenty years and have been successfully running my own business for six. Using my experience I have written many articles about working within the design field, helping lots of people over the years to create and run their own design businesses. As well as running a very successful blog, I have also produced a collection of creative business e books and am author of the children’s book “Stitched Paper Art” which is sold worldwide.

A firm believer in supporting British industry, my collection of exclusive homewares and paper products are all proudly designed and manufactured in the UK, using recycled materials where possible .

I am available for freelance work and am keen to wholesale her products throughout the UK.
