General information

We moved to Tuscaloosa in 2009 to create the 16 large-scale murals in the Tuscaloosa Federal Courthouse and we ended up staying! Our vision is to help the visual arts grow in Tuscaloosa, more specifically in education and in public art works. Husband and wife, Caleb and Ruth O'Connor run the studio together. Please realize, we are a "working studio" which means we are NOT a gallery, but since we have walls (and a great space downtown ) we tend to put things on our walls and have decided to open up our space to the community. Offering art education and advancement courses, special events and a chance to see us at work, we are a service to the community. In the visual arts, we concentrate on drawing, painting and sculpture. Note: We don't have the "usual" hours, but please let us know you'd like to visit and we can arrange! Also, visit us during our First Friday events (first Friday of each month except for summers and holidays) and meet like-minded folks in a casual atmosphere. Kids and pets always welcome.
