Then something unpleasant happens and they realize their interests were subsumed by systems, policies, and corporate politics. What seemed like a steady hand was too slow and shaky to move with the acute agility required today.

Hello, I’m Jeff Voudrie (voo-dray), Retirement Income Advisor. I’m part of a new breed of independent, personal money manager. Using sophisticated technology and deep experience, I research markets, test strategies and execute portfolio plans.

Unlike Big Names, I manage portfolios dynamically based on real time events. My clients tend to be retired and living the fullest days of their lives. Most tried a Big Name and did not like the uncertainty.

They appreciate working directly with me to create a plan reflecting their individual circumstances: some have a child in college, some care for parents, and some just want to travel the world. Some have a half million dollar portfolio and some have more.

Once the tailored plan is set, I go to work every day to manage these precious portfolios, typically with two goals in mind, 1) achieve stable growth and sensible profits while 2) aggressively minimizing risk.

My clients rely on the management of accumulated savings to fuel their “post career” life. They trust me. And I consider their trust inviolable.

I began my career with one of those Big Names (so I understand my clients’ frustration). Twelve years ago I founded Common Sense Advisors.

I am certified in all aspects of financial planning: estate, tax, retirement income, insurance and investing. I’ve been interviewed by The Wall Street Journal, MarketWatch, and others.

I wrote two successful books with another on the way. I hold three patents for revolutionary risk management and portfolio software.
