General information

We love to hear about what is going on in our community and elsewhere. If you post pictures, we'll try hard to get them on the timeline for all to see. We strive to include attribution, but don't always succeed. Just know we are grateful to those who shoot art, those who post important information or just ask a question here. Most of all, we're just smitten by all of you who like to visit and read it all.

We do ask for, and enforce, postings that are community friendly — the Milton-Freewater page enjoys a robust list of youngsters who follow us and we want to be sure it is suitable for all. Speaking of friendly, we strongly encourage safety on Facebook: please do not post pictures of your kids that identify them, don't tell everyone where you live and when you're gone. Vacation photos are best posted AFTER you get back home. Think twice before putting a phone number out there. And since we all voted we don't want this turning into a sale site, please don't post your house rental or car for sale here. Just don't. Thanks.

Also, many Facebook administrators are really good at staying right on top of every posting. You won't find us in that camp — we are living real lives and won't always be hanging with the computer.

To counter, we encourage folks to visit the main page and click on "Posts by others" of whatever Facebook is calling it at the time.
