Located in the heart of Unionville, Blacksmiths Bistro could be described as a Mediterranean restaurant with Italian cuisine -- or an Italian restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine. Both are correct because it is hard to say where the Mediterranean influences end and the Italian traditions begin.

Look at our wonderful dinner menu and you could easily lean either way. Pick our Tagliatelle Bolognese and you could reasonably declare that we are a great Italian restaurant. Pick the Seafood Bouillabaisse and you could rave about our mastery of Mediterranean style cooking.

Our many valued patrons do agree on one thing: the dining experience is relaxed and comfortable whether you are dining downstairs, the right choice for a more relaxed dining experience, or reserve a table upstairs, the best choice for a more formal dining. Plus during the summer months, you can dine outside on our patios at the front and back of the restaurant. Pick the front patio if you favor watching the world go by on Main Street Unionville. Pick the back patio for something a little more secluded and quiet.
