The Ontario Self Defence Centre and Wu Xin Martial Arts Whitby is a high quality and professional education centre for Men, Woman and Children.

We teach structured personal safety programs for the public, corporations and schools. Of course we are widely known for our high quality martial arts instruction and our structured Kung Fu training system 'WU XIN'.

'Wu Xin' is a family system from Taiwan and is classified as an internal martial art. No yelling, screaming and brute force.

Although other mainstream martial arts have gained reputation through becoming Olympic sports, acrobatics & or sports competition arts. Our systems training focus is survival and competence in uncompromising real life situations.

'Wu Xin' is a rare and effective self-protection educational system, suitable for all ages, shapes and sizes.

We teach people about all the facets of conflict involving all arenas. School, Home, Work and on the Street. Standing up, Sitting Down and on the Ground. What to do in Verbal, Physical and Perceived threat situations.

We not only teach realistic physical solutions but educate on real human responses. Fear, Adrenaline, Freezing and Adaptive Thinking and Communication Responses. There is no script to violence so we teach you the right way. To be aware and prepared under all circumstances.

We offer real mentorship in areas of discipline, focus, fitness, health and self-esteem. There are not enough words to describe the benefits of learning martial arts from a legitimate teacher in a professional training environment. It's inspirational and loads of fun.
