The Let’s Go! Self Development (SD) programme is uniquely positioned to take a young person, irrespective of social class, gender, racial or religious grouping, on a journey of self-discovery. Through interactive presentations, teaching and personal activities the young person will develop new skills to master self-leadership and define their individuality. The content of the programme is developed towards the broader youth population and is not primarily aimed at youth leaders. The knowledge and skills acquired by the young person can be applied in all spheres of life enhancing the capacity of the individual to cope with the challenges of life.

Let’s Go! SD is a self-development programme designed for young people between the ages of 18 and 30 who are entering university or who are becoming available to the labour market having completed their secondary or tertiary education.
The Let’s Go! SD programme will take participants on a journey of self-discovery and insights on their potential and conclude with the development of a personal brand. Through the programme young people will acquire the skill to direct their future, build a diverse network that will connect them to opportunities, and develop their ability to cope with a demanding world. The Let’s Go! SD programme is intended to ignite a wave of transformation amongst young people; developing the young people of South Africa towards active participating citizens with the required confidence and self-esteem to drive creative and innovative solutions for uplifting themselves, their families, communities and the broader society.

The unique attribute of the Let’s Go! SD programme lies in the multi-dimensional value proposition not only of its content, but also of the initiative as a whole. The value proposition to its customer, the young person, is undoubtedly appealing and compelling, as are the value propositions to other stakeholders i.e. families, communities, schools, universities and FET colleges, Let’s Go! facilitators and service providers, corporates, government and society at large.
