The Room is a family run concern offering our customers versatile high quality furniture that is not only practical but also affordable. The inspiration for our range arose from a need to source furniture for our growing family. Francois has over 15 years of wood working experience and together we are committed to offering furniture that is adaptable, functional and not only limited to children’s rooms.

We understand that raising a family is challenging and expensive and as such our beds in particular have been designed to grow with your child. For instance initially you can purchase their first bed but later as they have sleep overs you can add an under bed or convert to a bunk bed option. Our classic range of furniture will not date and well-loved pieces will move on with the times ensuring long term value for money.

In keeping with our commitment to quality we do not mass produce but rather manufacture to order. To ensure that our range looks good for years to come we believe in hand painting our furniture with quality lead-free paint. This ensures that nicks and scratches – inevitable with a growing family - are easily repaired and if you are inspired to repaint completely at a later date this is a relatively inexpensive and simple process. We offer a personal approach and although we are based in Stellenbosch, we are able to deliver countrywide through our appointed freight partner. No order is too big or too small.
