General information

The company has been active in the field of marble since 1974. Until the early 80’s the company was located in the area of Acharnes in Athens, manufacturing marble wash-basins in a small industrial unit.
Later on, the company was relocated to a privately-owned space in the industrial zone of Koropi in Attica, where a complete and modern vertical unit was set up including production line, slab storage facility, display area and administration offices. In addition, the company has a large open-air storage facility in the industrial zone of Kalyvia in Attica.
In terms of activities, it is in essence a company that imports raw materials and commodities. This enhances its position vis-à-vis the competition, as it gets raw materials from many countries in Europe, Asia and Africa, and guarantees high quality products with predetermined specifications and reduced cost.
Having developed an organised network for selling marble slabs to smaller production units wholesale, the company is known throughout Greece for both the quality of its materials and its consistency. Moreover, it has developed an extensive retail network for ready-made cut products and it is working with architectural, construction and technical companies, decorators, etc.
With the mechanical equipment it has today, i.e. gangsaws, automatic multi-headed polishing machine, unit for reinforcing marble slabs with resins and net, cutters and milling machines for cutting special sizes, side and edge finishing machine, as well as bush hammering machines, the company is in a position to cover all possible marble applications.
The protection of the environment has been a chief priority of the company since its early years. In this respect, it has installed an environment-friendly system for cleaning and recycling the water used in the production process. Furthermore, since 2004 it has a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001/2000. This way all procedures and processes are certified so that the quality of services offered remains high.
In terms of operational capacity, the highly specialised technical and administrative staff involved in all of its activities puts the company in an advantageous position compared to the competition. This applies to the selection and assessment of raw materials, as well as to proper production process. In addition, the company offers architectural and decoration solutions, thereby contributing to the final proposal, according to the technical and financial specifications of each project.
In the department of ready-made final products for technical companies the company’s planning takes into account the high requirements for quality and at the same time economic materials with a view to optimizing the cost-quality ratio. In order to meet the complex requirements of this target group, the company has prepared special price-lists.
These lists offer alternative material solutions for main applications, with different textures and edge finishes, giving the constructor the capability to diversify the aesthetic result at reasonable prices.
