General information

MODplus was founded and established in the Greek market based on creating a product range that covers all the functional and aesthetic needs of each client. In its thirty year course it keeps evolving, getting modernized, offering products and services of high quality in the Greek and European market through partnerships with major retail chains.

Active since 1979 in Athens as a family business, the Menexis family started working on an innovative technology for the time, known as molded polyurethane. The company manufactured products that cover car and motorcycle seats, while at the same time the development of new models of chairs and armchairs for working environments (offices, ships, hotels) takes place.

In 1989, the company is expanding its facilities in Aspropyrgos and makes investments in new machinery and high technology, in order to achieve producing high quality products with a satisfactory cost.

In 1995, the Menexis family business acquired SCORPIOS (another well known company in the Greek market) and obtained machinery and expertise in the field of hard molded polyurethane thus completing the demanding range of products for ships waiting areas with particular specifications.

Since 2000, the company has expanded its production and manufactures partition systems for offices using aluminum and wood as new materials. Also, in association with renowned designers, the Menexis family business has created a product line (Sofas, Armchairs, Office Chairs, etc.) with high aesthetics and reasonable costs, consolidating its position as one of the best companies in the wholesale market.

The result of this action was the birth of Menexis SA Furniture in 2003, which operates fully with new mechanical equipment in new facilities of 3600 sq.m, at Eleonas area in Thebes. The company also starts combining materials such as wood, alongside with existing products, targeting towards integrated manufacturing products for business premises.

In 2011, the industry witnessed the birth of a new brand name – MODplus; a company that targeted on expanding its network in the international market. MODplus successfully participated in IMM (Cologne – Germany) and 100% Design (London – UK) exhibitions while receiving substantial feedback and astonishing reviews.

The individual production units are: machinery, molded polyurethane, carpentry, upholstery. The company holds the quality certificate:

EN ISO 9001:2000.

By using this process, it has now become the company’s goal to remain one of the most reliable companies in the industry, by focusing on providing high quality customer service. While embracing this philosophy, the company created new premises of 1.500 sq.m which started functioning in full operation in the summer of 2011.

Since 2014, MODplus has started its first steps as an individual private company, by the two brothers, Thodoris and Manos Menexis with a goal of promoting high quality and design products in the global market. By always having as a main goal the excellent quality in our end products, we will always consistently fulfill your every need and desire.
