Kir-Yianni Estate was founded in 1997 by Yiannis Boutaris, one of the leading figures in the Greek wine industry. Now his sons, Stellios and Mihalis, take the hundred-year-old family tradition in winemaking into the 21st century, aiming at finding the right balance between authenticity and innovation, with the same passion as did all the generations before them. Kir-Yianni has vineyard holdings in Naoussa and Amyndeon, in Northwestern Greece. Proper care in the vineyard, microvinification and meticulous blending, endow Kir-Yianni wines with character, aging potential, and typicity.
