Astarte House Villa

General information

Astarte house - villa is a renovated mansion that has been declared as a listed monument for its unique architecture. The villa has four bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, a half bathroom, a dining area and a big hall. The total surface area is about 150 sq meters. We offer accommodation for up to 8 people!
The private garden with the old fountain and the perennial pine trees is about 200 sq. m. with outdoor furnishings, a hammock and a deck chair, to ensure a pleasant and relaxing time.
Entering the house there is a large hall with a waiting area. At the left side you can find a fully equipped dining area with television and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, a large fridge with freezer, a washing machine and all the necessary equipment. The bathroom has a shower cabin and you can also find shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and olive oil soaps.
Each bedroom includes one double size bed, 140cm x 200cm with two bedside tables, a wardrobe cabinet for your clothes and one luggage rack for your suitcase. You can also find a desk with a stool and a mirror.
The villa has also free Wi-Fi access, flat screen TV, hairdryer, iron, smartphone chargers and free toiletries. Upon your arrival you can find free bottled mineral water, tea, coffee and sugar in the kitchen. The property is accessible by car. Pets are always allowed in our garden!
We also offer personal check-in at the property, detailed arrival information and sightseeing recommendations. The maid and breakfast services are available after arrangement according to your needs.
The visitors have the exclusive use of the 150sq.m. ground floor and the 200sq.m. front yard. The attic and the basement are discreetly used by the owner. In the kitchen there is a door which leads upstairs, and it's used only for the cleaning and breakfast service.
Archontoula, the owner of Astarte House Villa, is a freelance mechanical engineer currently living in Rhodes. She is a really friendly and polite host, ready to assist you at any time. She was born in the US of America, and moved to the island due to her family origins. She has also a small business of wholesale Greek organic olives, which every visitor can have a taste!
When you arrive, she will welcome you with a glass of delicious red wine, produced and bottled by her family's vineyards, coupled with an amazing variety of Greek cheeses and olives.
This beautiful and uniquely decorated villa is located in the heart of the city of Rhodes. It offers an amazing stay for those who seek holidays in the center of our beautiful island and also in a peaceful neighbourhood. In a two block radius, you will find two mini markets, a bakery, a pharmacy, coffee shops and every necessary accommodation for your daily needs. The distance from the airport is 14,4km.
Downtown Rhodes is a 15 minutes stroll away. There you will find a variety of stores, cafes and restaurants, to cater for every taste. The cosmopolitan beach of “Elli” is situated there as well. Even closer to the villa is the world famous Old Town. Declared a UNESCO World’s Heritage Site, since 1988, the old town has a lot to offer, from the lively and bustling Socratous st. to the narrow picturesque cobbled back alleys. The entrance to the Old Town is possible through a number of “Gates”. The “D’ Aboisse” gate is just 5 minutes away on foot from the villa and will get you right in front of the Grand Master's Palace.
There's a bus station only a few meters away, on the street of Themistokleos Sofouli. The area has lots of free public parking spaces. If needed, we can provide a private parking by arrangement. All amenities within short walking distance!
