General information
In het academische jaar 1990/1991 startte de opleiding Fiscaal Recht aan de Faculteit der Rechtsgeleerdheid aan de Universiteit Maastricht. Er ontstond een behoefte aan een fiscale studievereniging en een groep enthousiaste studenten zijn toen in deze leemte gesprongen. De FIscaal Rechtelijke STudievereinging Maastricht (FIRST Maastricht) werd in het leven geroepen. In 1995/1996 is aan de Faculteit der Economische Wetenschappen en Bedrijfskunde de opleiding Fiscale Economie begonnen. Vanaf dat moment zijn ook fiscaal economen een doelgroep van FIRST Maastricht geworden.
