Recent activities have taken place in the fields of cinema, graphic design and graphic novels, music, performance arts and visual arts. All the institute's activities start from the grassroots level: it always works together with local partners.
The Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux is an independent non-profit organisation that was established in 1993. It is a part of the network of Finnish cultural and academic institutes and works in close cooperation with Finnish embassies in the Benelux and other Finnish cultural organisations.
