T-STORY - STORYTELLING APPLIED TO TRAINING

Project T-Story is focused on pedagogical approach Storytelling. Storytelling is an innovative teaching method consisting in telling stories. Suitable words, narration and metaphors help to present a given issue or idea in a way that involves learners by stimulating their imagination and emotions. The method enhances learning motivation creating friendly atmosphere favorable for reflection, creativity and communication.

The method combined with the latest technologies composes digital storytelling. Digital stories can include interactive movies with highly produced audio and visual effects or presentation slides with narration or music.

This teaching method can be applied to any subject and to any level of formal or informal education. T-Story project aims to popularize storytelling and digital storytelling as pedagogical technique among teachers and trainers.

PROJECT MISSION

T-Story will foster teachers/educators/trainers knowledge and skills development by using digital storytelling technique – learn storytelling through storytelling.

The target groups will have the opportunity to learn and train how to implement the technique and how to engage their students/trainees taking advantage of the digital potential.

T-STORY project – Storytelling Applied to Training is funded by the transversal action “Key Activity 3 – Information and Communication Technologies” within the framework of the European Union Programme - Lifelong Learning. Durance of the project is from November 2012 to October 2014.
