Móveis J.Gomes é uma empresa de mobiliário e decoração, sediada na freguesia de Moure, junto ao que foi um dos mais notáveis exemplares de Eucalipto de Portugal. Possui um showroom de 600m2, um armazém desde o qual é organizada a distribuição e uma oficina de artesão para acabamentos e "re-styling" de peças. Exibe uma gama ecléctica de artigos para o lar e uma colecção de arte portuguesa.

Móveis J.Gomes is a furniture and decoration company, located in Moure near of what it was one of the most appreciated examples of Eucalyptus in Portugal. With a showroom of 600sqm, a warehouse where all the distribution is organized and a craftsman workshop for finishings and "re-styling". Displays an eclectic range of house articles and a collection of portuguese art.

A NOSSA HISTÓRIA / OUR HISTORY

João Gomes cedo começou na arte da Talha. Braga era nessa altura o local com os melhores artesãos na indústria e aos 18 anos João Gomes já geria uma fábrica com cerca de 20 colaboradores. Com o fim do interesse do mercado no mobiliário tradicional e trabalhado, passou a dedicar-se à venda directa de mobiliário, sem nunca esquecer as suas raízes e a sua enorme paixão pela talha portuguesa.

João Gomes, the owner, soon started in the art of Portuguese traditional carving. Braga was in that time the place with the best artisans in the industry and with only 18 years old João Gomes was managing a company with more than 20 employees. With the loss of interest in the portuguese traditional furniture, he got specialized in retail of furniture and decoration, but without forgetting his roots and his enormous passion for portuguese traditional carving.
