È proprio nel cuore di Torino, in Piazza San Carlo detta dai torinesi "il salotto di Torino", che la storica Confetteria Stratta dal 1836 apre le sue porte: una piccola bottega di appena sessanta metri quadrati, nata dall'ingegno e dall'abilità artigianale di Stratta e Reina, maestri confettieri e pasticceri, che volevano a tutti i costi uscire dal chiuso dei laboratori per avere uno spazio di vendita al pubblico.
