Tutto è iniziato a Torino nel 2007. Andrea e Daniele, i soci fondatori di Kombu, decisero di costruire qualcosa insieme per poter concretizzare la passione comune per il cibo ed il sapore dei piatti giapponesi. Da questa convinzione di poter creare un concept food, nasce il primo negozio Kombu situato a Torino in Corso De Gasperi. Esperimento pilota che dopo solo un anno vede nascere il secondo punto vendita diretto. In poco tempo la catena Kombu si è estesa in maniera capillare, partendo da Torino ed estendendosi in tutt'Italia!
