La pasticceria Ghigo nasce nel 1870 e fino agli anni 50 è conosciuta come latteria. I marghe dellepoca portavano il latte a domicilio, dentro una cisterna trainata dai cavalli, dove veniva versato nei classici bidoni bianchi. Nel retro del negozio venivano prodotti tomini ed altri formaggi, poi venduti direttamente ai clienti. Le ricette dei prodotti di Ghigo sono state gelosamente tramandate per generazioni e tuttoggi vengono utilizzate per produrre croissant ed altri prodotti unici nel loro genere.
