La Biennale Internazionale d'Arte Contemporanea di Firenze, o Florence Biennale, è tra i pochi eventi internazionali strutturati come una piattaforma indipendente e autofinanziata per l'arte contemporanea, dove artisti provenienti da ogni parte del mondo si riuniscono a Firenze, negli spazi espositivi della Fortezza da Basso, per condividere un'esperienza unica, liberamente aggregante e autentica. La manifestazione si svolge sotto l'Alto Patronato della Presidenza della Repubblica, il patronato del Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali, e il patrocinio di Regione Toscana, Città di Firenze ed EXPO 2015.

The Florence Biennale is one of the few international art events structured as a self-financed independent platform for contemporary art, where Artists from all over the world come to Florence to exhibit their work at the Fortezza da Basso, and share an inspiring, live, and unique experience. The event is patronised by the President of the Republic and Ministry of Cultural Heritage of Italy as well as the Regional and Municipal authorities of the City of Florence and EXPO 2015.
