General information
The Borgo Storico Seghetti Panichi lies on a hill along the valley of the River Tronto, a few kilometres from Ascoli Piceno. The historic compound is formed of the Relais Villa, a medieval fortress adapted into a country residence in the C18th; the Residenza San Pancrazio from the C17th stables, sheltered by the ancient perimeter walls of the castle; the Oratory, built in 1608, decorated with precious frescoes attributed to the Biagio Miniera school.
All is surrounded by a historic garden of rare beauty, planted between 1875 and 1890 by the renowned botanist and landscape gardener Ludwig Winter, today the first Bioenergetic garden in Europe.
