LIVES is the Swiss National Center of Competence in Research in the field of the social sciences using life course perspectives.
Around 140 researchers studie the effects of the post-industrial economy and society on the development of situations of vulnerability using a longitudinal and comparative approach.
Le Pôle de Recherche National (PRN) dans le domaine des sciences sociales LIVES étudie les effets de l’économie et de la société postindustrielle sur l’évolution de situations de vulnérabilité par le biais d’études longitudinales et comparatives. Les projets de plus de 140 chercheur-e-s visent à mieux comprendre l’apparition et l’évolution de la vulnérabilité, ainsi que les moyens de la surmonter, pour favoriser l’émergence de nouvelles mesures sociales et politiques.
