Muzeum hlavního města Prahy je kulturní institucí schraňující bohatý sbírkový fond věnovaný pražským dějinám, který nashromáždilo v průběhu své existence. V současné době spravuje čtrnáct objektů různého charakteru, v nichž se nacházejí jak stálé expozice, tak časově omezené výstavy. Kromě těchto výstavních prostor a kulturních památek vlastní Muzeum Prahy rozsáhlý areál odborných pracovišť v pražských Stodůlkách. Muzeum je příspěvkovou organizací hl. města Prahy.

The City of Prague Museum is a cultural institution enshrining a rich collection ofthe history of Prague which has been compiled during its existence. The museum currently runs fourteen buildings of various characters which hold both permanent and temporary exhibitions. In addition to these exhibition spaces and cultural monuments, the vast compound of the City of Prague Museum contains specialised departments and in the Stodůlky quarter of Prague. The museum is the public benefit corporation of the City of Prague.
