ADRA Österreich ist eine vom Staat unabhängige Hilfsorganisation, die es sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat, bei Notfällen im In- und Ausland rasch und effizient Hilfe zu leisten.
ADRA steht für: „Adventist Development und Relief Agency“ und ist eine Nichtregierungsorganisation (NGO). Gegründet von der Kirche der Siebenten-Tags-Adventisten (www.adventisten.at) ist ADRA Österreich seit 1992 als Hilfsorganisation registriert und trägt seit 2002 das Spendengütesiegel. Spenden an ADRA sind steuerabzugsfähig.
