Der Name TEUFELBERGER steht für eine dynamische Firmengruppe mit drei Technologien und drei strategischen Geschäftsbereichen mit mehr als 220 Jahren Erfahrung. 950 motivierte Mitarbeiter erzielten im Jahr 2014 ein Umsatzvolumen von rund 182 Mio. EUR.

Neben Stahlseilen für Seilbahnen, Kranseile und für den Forsteinsatz ist TEUFELBERGER auch in den Bereichen synthetische Fasern (Faserseile für Marine Anwendungen, Hochleistungsseile für Industrie, Forstwirtschaft, Baumpflege und Spezialanwendungen, Verbundfasergeflechte für Composite-Bauteile und Metall-Composite Anbindungstechnologien) sowie Extrusion (Kunststoff-Umreifungsbänder und Erntebindegarne) tätig. TEUFELBERGER produziert an sechs Standorten weltweit: zwei Standorten in Wels (Oberösterreich; alle Produkte), St. Aegyd (Niederösterreich; Stahlseile), Veselí nad Lužnicí (Tschechien, Faserseile), Fall River (USA, Faserseile) und Thailand (Asien, Faserseile).

In addition to wire ropes for ropeways, cranes, and for use in forestry, TEUFELBERGER is also active in the segments Synthetic Fibers (fiber ropes for marine applications, high-performance ropes for industry, forestry, arboriculture, recreational climbing, and special-purpose applications, overbraiding and metal-composite interconnections) and Extrusion (plastic strapping and baler twines). TEUFELBERGER operates production facilities in six locations: two sites in Wels (Upper Austria; all products), and one each in St. Aegyd (Lower Austria; wire ropes), Veselí nad Lužnicí (Czech Republic, fiber ropes), Fall River (U.S., fiber ropes) and Thailand (Asia).
