2004 von "rubberfresh" als Kulturverein zur Veranstaltung vieler legendärer Feste wie das "rubberfreshtival" usw. gegründet.
Mittlerweilen ist Alärm kein Kulturverein sondern vielmehr eine Institution (Firma) bzw. Label zur Förderung, Produktion, und Unterstützung junger Bands.
Teile des alten Feuerwehrhauses in Lofer wurden zu einem Tonstudio inkl. Studiowohnung und Kunstwerkstätte umgebaut.
Abseits der Musik gibst im Umkreis von 10 Minuten den Skatepark, Schwimmbad, Fussballplatz, Skigebiet Loferer Alm, Bascamp - Paraglide / Canyoning,
Tv - fette Dvd Sammlung, Playstaion, INternet.
