Little Smarties Bishops Cleeve is owned by the Gray family & this is their second nursery, the first Little Smarties is in Cheltenham and has achieved two OFSTED outstanding awards, a 5 star food hygiene award and enjoys an excellent reputation locally.

Little Smarties Bishops Cleeve is located at the top of Pecked Lane, next to the steam railway line on the border between Bishops Cleeve and Woodmancote.
It was formerly the Royal British Legion Club and has been completely transformed by the Gray's investment.

The location means that the children enjoy the spectacle of steam trains running past our gardens.

Inside the nursery, the steam train theme follows on with three internal railway carriages in addition to our four huge nursery rooms. These carriages are set up for internal activities that are accessible to all our children & include a Sensory Room, Music & I.T suite and our Enchanted Reading carriage.

We have a small farmyard area to raise our 2 piglets. There are 4 Gardens in total including a farming/ growing area which the children use to cultivate their own vegetables, a mud kitchen & our forest school garden where we have a Bug hotel.

Our menus are organic and we pride ourselves on our home cooked food cooked by our amazing chef Heidi.. We rotate our menus frequently so the children will enjoy a full range of delicious, nutritious meals on an 11 day cycle so they dont get the same meal on the same day each week.

We feel our most important asset are our staff. We recruit highly qualified professionals as we believe your child deserves to be looked after by the best staff who love their jobs and will love your child.

We offer the 15 & 30 Free funded hours and allow you to pay with childcare vouchers too.
