General information
The purpose of Scottish Council on Deafness is to advance health, human rights, equality and diversity by promoting the welfare of people in Scotland whose lives are affected by deafness.
Acting on behalf of organisations and agencies working with deaf people in Scotland by forming strategic alliances, developing policy initiatives and using them to improve the human and civil rights of deaf people in Scotland.
We are working towards removing barriers to all services including information, advice, education, justice, community care, health, counselling services and represent the interests of deaf people, families and carers in achieving accessible services and information.
