Croft staff and volunteers are available in the Waiting Area at HMP Barlinnie at selected times throughout the week and weekend:
alternate Tuesdays 4.30-7.30pm
Wednesdays 10.30am-2.30pm
Thursdays 4.30-7.30pm
Fridays 10.30am-2.30pm
alternate Saturdays and Sundays
At other times, we have a contacts box in the prison Atrium where you can leave your details and we'll get back to you.
We have information on visiting prison and prison procedures; how to claim some travel expenses; low-cost photographic identification and where to go for specialist help such as benefits, debt, housing and emotional support. On Wednesday afternoons, Helen McClymont the CAB Prisoners' Families Adviser runs a surgery in the Croft - check with us about appointments - there are also information and advice leaflets available at all times.
