The Academy was formally launched to the Financial Press in January 2014 to high acclaim. Enrolment for advisers begins 1st February 2014 and the Academy are delighted that one of the first "Ambassadors" to be announced who are supporting the proposition is Skandia.
Featuring in Financial Adviser, Mortgage Strategy, Mortgage Solutions, FT Adviser and many others the support has been overwhelming.
The strategy is simple ; to support and train more advisers to guide clients at or in retirement on areas such as Care costs, annuities, Equity Release, Benefits, tax, estate planning, funeral plans and many other areas that pose questions.
People want "joined up" thinking, and straight forward well educated answers, and this is at the core of what we do.
Monthly membership for advisers is from £20, with "bolt on" training modules charged at cost for full members. Each firm or individual can then design their own training needs.
Annual testing is required to ensure ongoing knowledge and regular bulletins, best practice notes and other support is given to members.
