General information

NBC Building Contractors is a medium size building contractor specializing in large scale refurbishment of hotels, restaurants and retail chains throughout the UK.

Iirrespective of size, the same level of commitment is devoted to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Unlike most modern building contractors, NBC employs the majority of its workforce and has its own in-house NICEIC approved electrical division and Gas Safe registered plumbing and heating division.

Our administration and management centre is located in Southampton, where our Clients and site staff requirements are supported by a Contracts Management department, Estimating and Surveying department, Buying department and Accounts department.

The company also has considerable experience in the sensitive refurbishment of listed buildings to high specification new build projects.

Being a medium sized contractor, NBC are ideally suited to take on large and small scale complex building projects throughout mainland UK, yet are small enough to keep overhead costs to a minimum providing a competitive and personal service.

In most cases therefore, the destiny of each project is managed within our own hands and is less reliant on outside influences. Our workforce is supported only by long standing, reliable and proven sub-contractors for specialist tasks such as air-conditioning installation.

Health & Safety is a key factor in our day to day activities, and both staff members and site operatives have undertaken various Health & Safety courses to ensure compliance with current CDM regulations. This is monitored by a Health & Safety Consultant to maintain a high level of Health & Safety at all times.

We at NBC are proud of our achievements and with most of our workload being secured through long standing clients or by recommendation, we have had no need to embark upon advertising campaigns to create work.
