The Vocational College

A multi award winning, national company with a North-West focus, The Vocational College is an established Learning Provider and is accredited with City & Guilds of London, Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations, with strong affiliations to the Glass Qualifications Authority (GQA) and other awarding bodies. Covering a variety of occupations, we have a range of depth and experience that few, if any, other similar organisations can match. The Vocational College enjoys substantial contracts for the delivery of NVQ based training with the Skills Funding Agency and the Education Funding Agency.

Our Programmes have been designed to meet the needs of employers and provide both young people and experienced workers with quality training towards nationally recognised qualifications in their chosen career sectors.

Programmes are open to all, regardless of race, religion, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, disability or offender background (except where specific legislation applies), who are assessed as being able to complete their training within agreed timelines. Priority is given to those aged 16 – 18.

Graded “Good” by OfSTED in July 2010, our courses are designed to help meet the economic challenges of the 21st century and combine high quality vocational training, both on and off-the-job, with training in QCA Key Skills, leading to National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs).
