Ammonite Audio aims to provide simple, cost effective and useful products to audiophiles. We started out making improved mounting collars for Jelco tonearms, but have expanded our range with spacer rings to go with the collars. Since customers asked for Jelco tonearms, we now sell these too and try to be the cheapest genuine UK supplier of Jelco arms.
More recently, Ammonite Audio has been appointed as the sole retailer for the JSA range of headphone conditioners from VertexAQ, which passively absorb acoustic and RFI energy, resulting in a much richer sounding and more satisfying headphone listening experience. HiFi+ Magazine have just reviewed the Type Conditioner in the August 2015 issue - they liked it very much indeed.
The JSA range will be expanding later this year with the introduction of a passive USB conditioner, also dealing with acoustic and RFI interference. The USB conditioner also allows very flexible switching of USB power lines and is matched with a bespoke linear USB power supply to get the very best from USB audio equipment that needs host USB power.
