Pentewan Valley Nurseries. We are an established, family run, traditional Garden Nursery on the outskirts of St Austell. You can find us on the B3273 about 2.5 miles south of St Austell on the road to Mevagissey. We take great pride in offering a wide range of quality plants, within a friendly, helpful environment thus providing you with a relaxed shopping experience.
Unlike some garden centres we are happy to listen and provide a personal service, offering advise on suitable plants for your garden.
Set in the beautiful Pentewan Valley close to the Pentewan Cycle trail and a short walk from the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the level, child friendly nurseries with ample parking can easily form part of a good day out for all the family. The Eden Project is another popular attraction withih a short drive.
We always have a good general stock of shrubs, conifers, hedging, soft fruit, trees, herbs, cordyline, climbers, roses, grasses, phormiums, alpines, perennials and seasonal bedding and vegetables, together with a few exotics. Seeds, seed potatoes, onion sets, shallots (allotments can be provided), spring bulbs, compost, garden sundries, frost proof pots and garden ornaments, Christmas trees and wreaths can also be added to our list of products. Where possible, the plants are grown on site or sourced locally in Cornwall.
Hanging baskets are a speciality, either ready-made or planted to your own specification. This also extends to pots, which can be filled with a selection of your favourite plants to enhance your garden design. This service is available for private or commercial customers. We supply hotels, restaurants, camp sites and holiday parks.
Gift vouchers redeemable at the nurseries are available. Major credit cards accepted.
