Located on the edge of Mere, Wiltshire, the Walnut Tree Inn is a family friendly free house serving great value traditional English pub food all day. We open at 8:00am serving breakfast, freshly ground coffees and complementary newspapers, so if you’re out and about early or fancy a lazy way to start your Saturday morning, why not pay us a visit?
Our main menu has something to suit everyone’s tastes, accompanied by our daily changing specials and vegetarian choices. We love to welcome families and have a children’s menu that is sure to satisfy even the fussiest of young guests. The Walnut Tree is the place to be if you are looking for gluten free! We can offer 90% of our menu gluten free and are very excited about our growing repertoire of gluten free desserts.
Our Sunday Carvery is well known throughout three counties now. Booking is a must if you want an early sitting, but we serve all day so don’t panic..you won’t miss out!
We are also pleased to be able to offer guests the choice of three luxury en suite rooms for B&B accommodation. So if you are visiting family, looking for a weekend away, or just somewhere to crash after a busy day out at Longleat, get in touch!
