Welcome to Blackbrook House

We hope you enjoy your time exploring our facebook site and finding out more about what we do. To us, we like to think that we treat this as your first visit to the house, and although we can’t personally guide you through the house and explain what we do, we hope that the way we have designed the site fills you with warmth and extends a little bit of our hospitality, and leaves you wanting to know more.

The Internet is a very powerful tool, but it can make everything a little impersonal. Blackbrook House is all about personal service, great food and attention to detail, so what we have tried to do with our web site is make it as useful and as informative as we can but at the same time making it personal and intriguing so you actually feel that you want to come and visit us!

I can’t believe that it is nearly 10 years ago since we started our dream here at Blackbrook House – the time has gone quicker than I would ever believe possible. The opportunities we have been given during this time have been nothing less than amazing, and we have come to love what we do more and more. Everything we do is different – in fact most of our guests refer to us as unique, which in our opinion is an incredible accolade to hold! Most importantly to us we have created some fantastic memories for a network of friends, not just clients, who thankfully we see time and time again returning for any possible excuse! Over the years, we have come to understand why we do what we do and with such passion – and the reason is because it makes so many people so very happy, which in turn fills us with so much pride!

This year has started for us with a very big pat on the back – To our utter most astonishment we won the Best British Wedding Venue Award hosted by Wedding TV. There were some incredible venues in the finals, and because our clients love what we do, and they wanted to let everyone know this by voting and writing reviews for us. It was their votes took us to the top spot for which are so very grateful!

Because everything we do is personal, a very big “Thank you” has to go to all our clients, friends and family for all you have done to help us over the years, supporting us and enabling us to realise our dreams, but most importantly to be able to continue to make your events just that little bit extra special – whatever they are!
