Message from the Trustees of Animal Helpline Dog Rescue:

“We would like to thank all our Volunteers, Supporters and Followers for all your support over these last few months. We would like to confirm that, with the support of Ros's family and our dedicated Volunteers, we will definitely continue the work of the rescue from the same established kennels. We hope to have your continued support as we move forward with rescuing, caring for and rehoming, previously unwanted dogs.”

Animal Helpline has existed as a dog rescue for over 30 years with Ros being the driving force with the help of volunteers. The rescue grew significantly after 2010 and it was decided to establish the rescue as a charitable organisation, which we achieved in March 2013. The initial Trustees were Ros, Andrew Ferguson and Sue Boughton. After Ros became ill during the summer of 2016 we recruited an additional trustee, Teresa Phillips. The three current Trustees have a legal responsibility for all aspects of the rescue and to make sure the Charity carries out its objectives which is primarily to rescue and rehome unwanted dogs. This includes the day to day running of the kennels, the welfare of our dogs and rehoming them into appropriate homes as well as safeguarding the rescues future.
