The Switch Project

General information

The Switch Project nurtures young people’s emotional and social development through early intervention, mentoring and support.

From our centre in Wolverhampton we have worked with young people in West Midlands schools, communities and other organisations for 10 years. We offer support to those considered vulnerable to educational disengagement or are struggling to cope in school, whilst also providing help and guidance for parents, teachers, schools and other referring organisations.

With this experience we have developed a range of approaches and resources, which include our daily social inclusion programmes aimed at increasing social-emotional learning, improving attendance and helping the young person to thrive and flourish. Our staff are ‘National Specialist Leaders in Behaviour and Attendance,’ are trained in Pivotal Education Behaviour and Safety, as well as teaching and learning, safeguarding, first aid and professional arts qualifications, plus Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks. We also complete the Wolverhampton City Council Quality Assurance and Compliance regulatory checks.
