Home Instead Senior Care Wetherby and North Leeds is a specialist home care service enabling the elderly to enjoy the highest quality of life in the comfort of their own home and maintain their independence.

Our flexible and responsive service is tailored to the times that suit our clients and can be anything from one hour to 24 hours a day. We can assist on a regular basis or as a one off and we are available 7 days a week, including Bank Holidays.

Margaret Brennan runs the local Home Instead Senior Care team and has over 25 years’ experience in the healthcare sector, mostly in cancer and palliative care. When Margaret’s father developed Alzheimer’s she found it impossible to find the standard of home care that she wanted for him so she stepped away from her career in order to care for him at home.

After her father died Margaret came to Home Instead Senior Care because she wanted to provide others with the high quality, professional service that she had sought for her father, and that would support independent home living for the elderly.

The professional team of CAREGivers at Home Instead Senior Care Wetherby and North Leeds provide a wide range of Home Help, Domestic, Companionship and Personal Care services including assistance with shopping and social trips, preparation of meals, medication reminders, bathing and dressing and light housework. Our more specialist services include home care support for individuals with dementia and palliative care needs.

We focus on building relationships with our clients and their families and understand the importance of supporting their social and emotional needs.
All our CAREGivers are local people, directly employed by us after undergoing a stringent selection process. Enhanced CRB checks are carried out, six references are provided and checked and a thorough induction and training programme is undertaken.

We know our clients enjoy seeing a trusted and familiar face, rather than a different person every day, and for this reason we match our clients with our CAREgivers so that a fulfilling relationship can develop. We always introduce the CAREGiver to the client so they never have a stranger arriving at their home to provide care.
