General information

The A.G.A Group is the parent organisation under which a number of specialist divisions operate which include AGA Bioengineering Systems, AGA Civil Engineering and AGA Ecology & Land Management Consultants. These divisions allow for in-depth understanding of specific elements of the environment, thus providing expert knowledge in specific disciplines.

AGA Bioengineering services provide 'soft' methods and can be used alongside 'hard' engineering methods. Bioengineering has become the favoured method of achieving high standards of effective erosion control, water quality and habitat improvement where a sustainable environmental approach is important.

AGA Civil Engineering services are associated with the construction and refurbishment of dams, reservoirs, river embankments and much of the associated infrastructure. The natural progression into groundwork and civil engineering on the wider scale enables us to utilise our extensive resources to offer a cost effective service in all aspects of ground engineering including the supply of geosynthetics and installation of geotechnical systems.

AGA Ecology and Land Management Consultants employ a multi-disciplined team who offer a complete service to those responsible for the management, protection and sustainability of the environment. It is believed the integrated approach will lead to an improved natural balance, enhance biodiversity and an increased productivity of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. The consultancy team offers services within the fields of Ecology, Land Management, Arboriculture and Management of the Aquatic Environment. The services this division includes:
