KangaWrap Company Information
General information
The KangaWrap was developed by midwives at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust with a combined a desire to support communities in Delhi slums (via ASHA India) and other charitable projects, with their findings from research into Kangaroo Care and the benefits of keeping new babies close to their mothers.
The resulting KangaWrap is ideal for Kangaroo Care and manufactured in fair trade conditions in the developing world.
Trade4Life, a community interest company, was established by a group of volunteers to bring KangaWrap to market, with profits going into business creation schemes in developing communities.
