The name Bethesda in the original Hebrew language means the "House of Grace" or "House of Outpouring " and is based on the biblical account in St John 5. Bethesda’s vision is that " Bethesda Ministries, the House of Grace and Outpouring, will be the pool, as reflected in St John 5, where people from all walks of life, throughout the UK and beyond, find healing and deliverance from their infirmity".
Bethesda, a place where ministry and people meet, has been given a prophetic mandate to affect the community with ministry and is therefore currently engaged in various programs with centres for young offenders and hostels throughout London. Bethesda Ministries also works alongside local authorities to ensure that the needs of the community are met.
