Dine with us, we’re open seven days a week from brunch until evening or peruse our extensive list of tipples including our expertly mixed “Cathedral Quarter Cocktails”.

The Northern Whig offers a huge selection of premium wines, spirits and beers while our carefully prepared cocktail list reflects the enthusiasm for mixing drinks which all our bartenders share. All our cocktails are made with premium spirits and you will find all the classics on there as well as some of our own award winning creations. If you can’t decide on what tipple to tackle first the team at The Northern Whig will be only too happy to help you choose the right drink for you.

Mid week at The Northern Whig the ambience is relaxed with chilled out lounge grooves, making it the perfect destination for an after work wind down or post shopping refreshment. At the weekends the vibe is more lively with cool soul on Fridays to ease you into the weekend and urban funk on Saturday nights, when the socialites gather to enjoy the cocktails and atmosphere that The Northern Whig are famous for.
