General information
Your Workshop North East is a social enterprise and community workspace based in Gateshead
with a vast array of professional tools and equipment for developing, prototyping, repairing and building pretty much anything you can think of!
Our aim is to provide you with the space and tools you need to work on any project you wish, but also in safe surroundings where you can learn and develop skills whilst socialising and sharing ideas with other like-minded, forward thinking people.
The space is well equipped with all the tools you'd find in the old technology workshop at school with a fair bit more to boot! We offer the use of kit for electronics, woodwork, metal work, glasswork, arts and crafts as well as building a network for enthusiasts and innovators, makers and menders, craftspeople and creatives who are on hand to help and assist in anyway they can.
All our profits go towards providing activities for young people in the area and delivering workshops to those suffering with early stage dementia.
