Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling art. Its main principle is taking your opponent to the ground, controlling them and then submitting them with a choke hold or joint lock. Its a martial art that suited for everyone, regardless of your age, sex, size etc. There are so many benefits to practicing BJJ, some of which are, self defence, flexibility, strength, weight lose, fitness, it teaches you how to problem solve and over come difficult situations, it teaches you how to stay calm, it gives you confidence, it can improve you balance and co-ordination, its great for discipline...the list is endless! The first class is FREE for everyone so come along and see for your self :) We now also run a Beginners Adult class for those who have never tried it before :)
