Nick is seen as an expert on Hurley yachts and has co-written a book "Hurley Marine, a History" on the subject.
Nick is the coordinator of mentoring for the International Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS). He has also written and marked exams for the IIMS Diploma in Marine Surveying and occasionally guest-lectures on the Solent University Degree Course on Marine Surveying.
