After many years of working in advertising and even more years of sewing, I have been sewing since I was 5, I decided to pursue my love for sewing, textiles and the decorative arts and retrained as a soft-furnisher. I have a diploma from the National Design Academy in 'Professional Soft Furnishings & Curtain Making'. My work is not limited to curtains and blinds, I can make anything from headboards to box cushions. I also frequently assist my clients with their colour schemes, flooring and accessories selection. I do not see soft furnishings in isolation; the overall scheme for a room is always the sum of its parts, and all elements should be considered together. I can supply a wide range of fabrics from £15 upwards, covering the full spectrum of colours and fabric choices. I supply numerous poles and tracks and can organise for a professional fitter to fit your items. I also can arrange shutters for you, as I work with a local business - Shutter wise.
