Grant Of Buckie has been established in the Northeast of Scotland since 1968 and has an enviable reputation for providing a professional and courteous service.

From day one the aim has been to provide good quality products at the lowest possible prices. At one time Grant of Buckie operated shops in Buckie, Elgin,Aberdeen, Inverness and Keith; however, the huge overheads involved made it impossible to remain competitive with those companies operating exclusively on-line. The huge increase in on-line shopping prompted me, the owner of Grant Of Buckie, to make one of the most important decisions in his business career. I made the decision to close all 5 shops and operate solely on-line. Consequently, This decision has resulted in overhead savings of approximately £300K a year, savings that Malcolm is only too happy to pass on to you the customer.

Commenting on his decision to close his shops Malcolm states: "If Grant Of Buckie was to survive and compete then I felt that on-line was the only serious option available. I now effectively have a shop in every home in the world that has a computer and at a fraction of the cost. My customers can shop in the comfort of their own home, day or night, and have the opportunity to compare my prices with those of my competitors. Increasing sales would suggest that I have been successful in achieving my aim to offer the lowest possible prices. I am happy, my customers are happy and I now sell furniture when I am asleep. Grant Of Buckie always has a large selection of quality furniture, beds and flooring in stock. We can deliver to all parts of the UK. We can also provide an expert fitting service on all types of flooring, at very competitive rates, be they for commercial or domestic properties.

The Removal & Storage section of the business is now owned and managed by Malcolm's son Murray. Murray has worked for Grant Of Buckie since his school days and has a wealth of experience in the Industry. Murray offers a weekly national & European removal service and various container storage options.
