General information
Saltfree has been teaching people to freedive and providing them with state-of-the-art facilities for deep water training since 2003. Our massive freedive platform in the clear, green waters of the NDAC has 4 training lines, 2 with counterweights - and depths of down to around 80m. With monthly meets all year round, courses from beginner up to instructor, the annual UK Depth Championships and great nights out at the pub - if you freedive in the UK, you want to do it with us!

Saltfree is run by former UK Team Captain, AIDA Instructor Trainer Sam Amps (Kirby). Sam has been teaching diving since 2000, freediving since 2001, has competed on the UK team several times, is an AIDA Judge, and is a PADI Course Director. Sam enjoys all types of freediving - from snorkelling in Cornwall to deep scary stuff in Chepstow - but is not quite so mad on static apnea.
